The combination of these two words makes it easy to hear the common assumptions about hunting & dressing one’s own meat with a sharp stone or wearing leather fringed clothing made from previous hunts. Our minds immediately conjure up images of gruff beards or domesticated grizzly Bears.

It is easy for people to assume that a “mountain town” means all of these things. Think about all the times you hear people talking about skiing and snowboarding. You rarely hear them called that. Mountain towns are the perfect mix of tradition and advancement, which is why they make a great reason to be explored.

6. Day-trips: are a great way to explore other small towns. Find a way you can get out and explore the wonders of these towns. Explore the unique museums, and even local art galleries that showcase artists you won’t find anywhere else.

7. Enjoy the Entire Day. This is very important. You can watch the sunrise and set, or you can enjoy a cup coffee while enjoying some fresh air.
